Chinese zoo sparks fury right after painting chow chow canine to seem like PANDAS for their newest attraction
A zoo in China has sparked fury immediately after unveiling its new ‘panda dogs’ attraction in a relatively deceptive bid to draw in crowds.
The Taizhou Zoo in Jiangsu Province uncovered its most up-to-date attraction final week, an exhibit showcasing two tiny Chow Chow dogs that had allegedly been dyed by zookeepers to appear like panda bears.
The Chow Chows, a spitz-sort pet dog at first from northern China, had their fur trimmed brief just before black and white dye was extra to their confront and system.

The Taizhou Zoo mentioned it introduced the ‘panda dogs’ to the community since they do not have any of the actual animals for guests to see.
A zoo spokesperson reported in reaction: ‘A large amount of men and women are coming to stop by them and you need to queue up.
‘There are no panda bears at the zoo and we wanted to do this as a consequence.
‘You can see them from amongst 8.30am and 5pm.’
The spokesperson also strike again at the cruelty accusations, indicating: ‘People also dye their hair. Natural dye can be utilised on dogs if they have very long fur.
A video clip of the dogs’ debut appearance has gone viral on Fb, racking up 37,000 views and 1,200 likes.
A social media consumer named Maru commented: ‘They are very compact to run that quick! I assume they’re charming.’
Helen added: ‘Well that is an extraordinary way to get your pet dogs cared for even though you’re at get the job done lol.’ [sic]
Wai reported: ‘I think they are lovable.’
