Homeless teenager reunited with pet dog he surrendered to MS animal shelter
SENATOBIA, Skip. (WREG)— A homeless teen who surrendered his canine to a Mississippi animal shelter mainly because he could not care for her has been reunited with his pet.
WREG is not pinpointing the 17-yr-old, who was reunited with his puppy Jada, Friday early morning.
Kris Robinson, Interim Shelter Director at the Senatobia-Tate County Animal Shelter, suggests the teenager arrived to the shelter before in the week and requested if he could leave Jada there.
Robinson suggests he explained to her he couldn’t choose treatment of Jada any longer and that he was living below a bridge. The 17-12 months-outdated stated he’d still left Jada in a tent while he looked for perform, but she experienced damaged out.
The teen informed Robinson he didn’t even have a tent any longer and couldn’t feed the pet dog.
“We’re a shelter, so we’re anxious about the doggy, but eventually we were being worried about him and him having off the road and receiving some assistance,” Robinson reported.
